My Philosophy
I believe that people deserve emotional, physical, and spiritual support throughout their pregnancy and birth. I also believe that unbiased education allows people to make informed choices and take responsibility for their lives. If parents are well supported and educated on their journey of family-building, they are more likely to enter parenthood from a place of empowerment, confidence, and clarity.
A doula plays an important role on a birth team: aiding in guidance and preparations during pregnancy and assisting laboring parents and their support team–and advocating for them when necessary–to have the empowering, respectful, and satisfying birth experience they deserve.
